Phillies in the MLB playoffs: How to watch and buy tickets

The Philadelphia Phillies head into the MLB playoffs next week after securing the National League East Division title. With a roster full of All-Stars, the Fightin’ Phils will be looking to capture the World Series title this “Red October.”

The Phillies clinched the NL East title on Monday after defeating the Chicago Cubs 6-2 and earned a first-round bye on Wednesday after the Milwaukee Brewers lost 2-1 to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

When do the games take place?

The National League Wild Card games begin on October 1st and the Division Series begins on October 5th.

  • Game 1: Saturday, October 5 at Citizens Bank Park
  • Game 2: Sunday, October 6 at Citizens Bank Park
  • Game 3: Tuesday, October 8, at the opposing team’s stadium
  • Game 4: Wednesday, Oct. 9 at the opposing team’s stadium (if necessary)
  • Game 5: Friday, October 11 at Citizens Bank Park (if necessary)

How to get tickets

Fans who wish to watch the games at Citizens Bank Park should register to purchase tickets.

Where can you watch?

For those who can’t make it to the stadium, games will be broadcast on NBC Sports Philadelphia.

All Wild Card Series games will be shown on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. The NLDS and NLCS will be broadcast on FOX or FS1, while TNT Sports will simulcast the ALDS and ALCS on TBS, truTV and Max. The World Series will be broadcast on FOX, according to MLB.com.
