Country superstar Morgan Wallen has two big shows in Knoxville, and tickets for the best seats at Neyland Stadium were equally expensive, so if you’ve shelled out big bucks to see the hometown artist on September 20 or 22, you don’t want to risk being turned away for lack of preparation.
The University of Tennessee in Knoxville expects about 80,000 fans to attend each of the shows added to Wallen’s “One Night At A Time” tour in July, a month after the Tennessee baseball team won the College World Series.
On the day of the first concert on Friday, lectures will be held and the university asks concertgoers not to arrive on campus until after 2pm when parking lots open. Reserved parking spaces require a parking permit. More information on how to obtain one is provided below.
Here’s everything fans of the concerts should know before heading to Neyland Stadium.
On-campus parking for Morgan Wallen concerts at Neyland Stadium
Parking passes for both shows are now available, ranging in price from $20 to $100.
The passes allow concertgoers to park in designated parking lots on campus. Lots open at 2:00 p.m. on September 20 and again at noon on September 22 for the second show. Overnight parking is not permitted.
Public parking spaces on campus are subject to availability.

- Administrative garage connected to the Thompson-Boling Arena in the Food City Center
- Parking and side parking Circle Park Drive
- G7 West Campus Garage (5th floor only)
- G10 Newland Garage
- G11 Lake Avenue Garage
- G12 White Avenue Garage
- G13 11th Street Garage
- G16 Volunteer Boulevard Garage
- G17 Terrace Avenue Garage
- Parking lot behind Tickle College of Engineering, off Neyland Drive
- Parking lot at Second Creek, on Cumberland Avenue
- Staff Parking Lot 9 opposite Neyland Stadium
- Clarence Brown Theatre Employee Lot 23
- Stephenson Drive parking lot at Regal Soccer Stadium
- Parking on the campus of the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture
If you park on the Agriculture Campus, a shuttle will take you to the Student Union near Gate 21 of Neyland Stadium starting at 3:30 p.m.
Streets closed due to Morgan Wallen concerts at Neyland Stadium
Some streets will be closed and others will be congested before the concert.
Phillip Fulmer Way will be closed from near Gate 21 to the G10 garage. The road will be closed to southbound traffic at Middle Drive and will be impassable from Peyton Manning Pass.
Individuals parking in G10 are advised to enter via Neyland Drive and avoid Lake Loudoun Boulevard.
Uber and Lyft information for Morgan Wallen concerts at Neyland Stadium
Concertgoers using Uber or Lyft will be dropped off at the concert on Volunteer Boulevard East in front of the Claxton Education Building. This is near the John C. Hodges Library, Haslam College of Business, and the Student Union. Just walk down the hill to the east and Neyland Stadium will be in sight.
If you rely on Uber or Lyft after the concert, you will need to drive to Circle Drive on the hill for pickup. Police will control vehicle access to the pickup area.
Ticket apps for Morgan Wallen concerts at Neyland Stadium
General Bowl ticket holders will receive access to their digital tickets through the Ticketmaster app. Premium ticket holders will receive access to their digital tickets through the Tennessee Athletics app, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Field level ticket holders will enter the stadium through Gate 7, and pit ticket holders will enter the stadium through Gate 25.
The corresponding entrance for premium ticket holders will be listed on the digital tickets, while general bowl ticket holders can enter through non-premium entrances.
Entry is at 4:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6:30 p.m. every evening.
Tickets are still available for Morgan Wallen concerts at Neyland Stadium
Tickets for both Wallen shows are still available at Ticketmaster, including general admission, VIP packages and verified resale tickets.
Ticket platforms StubHub, SeatGeek and Vivid Seats also have tickets for the Knoxville shows on offer, but say they are “selling out quickly.”
Supporting acts for Morgan Wallen concerts at Neyland Stadium
ERNEST and HARDY will be opening for Morgan Wallen on both nights.
Both artists collaborated with Wallen on Post Malone’s new country album. Unfortunately, Post Malone is not listed as the opening act for the Knoxville shows.
Alcohol sales at Morgan Wallen concerts at Neyland Stadium
Fans can purchase alcohol for concerts at Neyland Stadium, but are not allowed to bring their own drinks.
The same beers are sold at concerts as on game days, with prices ranging from $10 to $16:
- Coors Light
- Miller Light
- Really
- Twisted Tea
- Two horses
- Full Lager
- SweetWater Hazy IPA
- Bud Light
- Bud Light Seltzer
- Michelob Ultra
- Yuengling
All IDs will be scanned regardless of age. Red IDs indicating when a person turns 21 will not be accepted.
Clear bag and other Neyland Stadium guidelines for Morgan Wallen
The clear bag policy applies, meaning fans may only bring clear bags no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches or small clutches no larger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches.
Fans may bring an unopened, factory-sealed water bottle or an empty, clear water bottle.
Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vapes, is prohibited.
The following items are prohibited in Neyland Stadium:
- Artificial noisemakers
- Open umbrellas
- Food and drinks brought along (unless medically necessary)
- Radios without headphones
- Video cameras, professional cameras and cameras with removable lenses
- Unmanned aircraft systems
- Stadium seats with armrests or side pockets
- Selfie sticks
- Weapons of all kinds, including pocket knives
No items may be stored or left at the gates.
Fans are allowed to bring the following items after a search:
- Cushions or seats without armrests or side pockets
- Small cameras, binoculars and mobile phones
- Small bags with medically necessary items
Pre-concert tailgate for Morgan Wallen at Neyland Stadium
The Volunteer Club is hosting a tailgate party at 3 p.m. in the Humanities Plaza. Tickets for the tailgate party are $100 and include a DJ, open cocktail bar, food, and a Morgan Wallen-themed photo booth. For more information, visit the Events tab on thevolunteerclub.com.
