WEST CHICAGO, IL — The West Chicago Food Festival will take over downtown on August 24 with more than 15 vendors, three live bands, a juggler, a face painter and other fun activities.
This year’s vendors include:

- Rebecca’s cake by design
- no problemsTaco Shop
- The Tiki Terrace
Hawthorne’s Backyard Bar and Grill will be on site to sell drinks to visitors ages 21 and older.
The schedule of live performances is as follows.
- 4 p.m.: Alika Arlyn
- 5:30 p.m.: 28 days
- 7pm: Good, clean fun
The event will feature family-oriented activities, including a balloon artist, a caricaturist and a puppet show by Those Funny Little People, scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Nicolette Stefan, West Chicago’s special events coordinator, told Patch, “A mix of lively music, delicious food and exciting family activities is always a top priority at this festival. We hope everyone enjoys the returning classics and some of the exciting new additions this year.”
