Boards & Bricks opened in 2022 when owners Kathy and AJ moved from Utah and wanted to use their knowledge of the gaming industry in a new way — so they opened a store. “Nobody comes in crazy to buy LEGOs, so it’s a pretty awesome place,” Kathy said.
Gold Standard certified retailers offer an incredibly wide range of LEGO products, and that’s exactly what you’ll find at Boards & Bricks. They stock the majority of the current LEGO product range, including LEGO’s UCS (Ultimate Collector Sets), which include huge themed sets and even hard-to-find sets that LEGO has been phasing out.
“Here you’ll find LEGO sets that you can hardly find anywhere else,” said Kathy.
Their space also has a rentable gaming area where you can try out their huge selection of board games. Boards & Bricks regularly hosts gaming events, including Friday Night Magic, and has a truly impressive puzzle collection. With their selection, Boards & Bricks is a hidden gem for gamers and, given their LEGO Gold Standard rating, a true hobby store. While they do special orders, they are a store-only operation, so you’ll have to head to Osseo if you want to land in LEGO paradise.
