Opening of the first store of its kind planned in western New York State

As we weather the dog days of summer here in Western New York State, one business is looking ahead.

I was driving near McKinley Mall the other day when I saw the first signs of fall here on 716. Apparently it’s never too early to start planning for the next big holiday.

I’m not talking about Christmas or Thanksgiving, but Halloween. Yes, the first Spirit store has opened here in Western New York State.

Some people would call this the official end of summer as people now start thinking about what to wear for Halloween.

I noticed some workers inside the building putting together shelves and other displays. There was no sign indicating when the store would open to the public.

So if you’re tired of the hot and humid days here in Western New York State, this is a sign that fall is just around the corner.

Of course, this is just the beginning. We all know that just in time for Halloween, spirit stores will pop up in old and abandoned stores.

Next, we wait for the Christmas decorations to appear at 716.
