Another JC Penney store in Minnesota has closed

When one of the places where an important memory was created dies out, you can’t help but feel sadness. Sadly, a place where you could find everything from school uniforms to home goods will soon be just another empty building. When the doors close forever, it’s hard not to feel a little nostalgia.

According to a report from FOX 9, the JC Penney store at 8201 Flying Cloud Drive in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, will not be reopening. In April, the major retail store was forced to temporarily close due to a fire and significant water damage that occurred while firefighters were fighting the fire. According to the latest statement from a company spokesperson, the JC Penney store at the Eden Prairie Center will not be reopening.

Currently, the Eden Prairie store is still listed on JC Penney’s website, but it notes that the store is closed daily.
