Olivia Nuzzi suspended from New York Magazine due to alleged affair with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Kennedy Jr. The alleged relationship began sometime after Nuzzi wrote a profile about RFK Jr in November 2023, according to sources cited by STATUS News.
Nuzzi recently admitted to the magazine’s editors that she “entered into a personal relationship with a former subject relevant to the 2024 campaign during her coverage of the 2024 campaign. This was a violation of the magazine’s standards regarding conflicts of interest and disclosures.”
The magazine stated that if Nuzzi had known about the relationship, he would have been banned from covering the presidential election.
In a statement, the magazine said: “An internal review of her published work has found no inaccuracies or evidence of bias. She is currently on leave from the journal and the journal is conducting a more thorough third-party review.” They also expressed regret for the “betrayal of our readers’ trust.”
Kennedy’s camp, however, denied the existence of a relationship between the two. A spokesman said: “Mr. Kennedy met Olivia Nuzzi only once in his life for an interview she requested, which spawned a smear article.”
According to one source, Nuzzi did not use Kennedy as a source in his election coverage. Another person familiar with the situation told STATUS News that the two probably became romantically involved around New Year’s.
Kennedy, 70, has been married to his third wife, actress Cheryl Hines from “Leave it, Larry!”, since 2014. Presidential election campaign on the Democratic ticket in April 2023 and is challenging incumbent President Joe Biden.
