Oasis have announced the North American leg of their highly anticipated reunion tour in 2025.

Following news of a tour of the UK and Ireland in August – when brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher settled their once bitter feud – the British rock band have now revealed they will play a series of shows in the US next summer.

The concerts take place 16 years after their last appearance in North America.

Oasis commented: “America… Oasis is coming. You have one last chance to prove that you have loved us all along.”

The North American leg of the tour begins August 24th in Toronto and takes the band to stadiums in Chicago, East Rutherford, Los Angeles and Mexico City. The performances take place between their performances in Dublin and their final two dates at Wembley Stadium in London.

Oasis will be accompanied by Kentucky-founded rock band Cage the Elephant, who will be supporting them on all US dates.

Pre-sale registration is currently open until Tuesday, October 1, 8:00 a.m. EST (1:00 p.m. BST).

General sale begins on Friday October 4th at 10am local time (3pm BST) and is available from Ticketmaster.

A press release regarding the North American tour revealed that there are plans for Oasis Live ’25 to venture to continents outside of Europe and North America later next year.

News of the North American leg of the reunion tour comes after the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) launched an investigation into Ticketmaster over its handling of ticket sales in the UK and Ireland.

Fans were left devastated after standing in online queues for hours only to find they were charged up to four times as much due to Ticketmaster’s so-called “dynamic pricing” system, which drives up fees when demand is particularly high much as the originally stated prices were calculated.

Earlier this month, the CMA said it would investigate how Ticketmaster’s “dynamic pricing” was used and whether the sale may have breached consumer protection laws.

The CMA said it would work with Ticketmaster and gather evidence from various other sources, including possibly the band’s management and promoters.

Ticketmaster is not believed to have violated consumer protection laws, she added.

Oasis formed in Manchester in 1991 and went on to become one of the era’s best-selling bands, a phenomenon even among their Britpop peers such as Blur, Pulp and Suede. All seven of their studio albums topped the charts, and this success was reflected in ticket sales – especially when 125,000 fans attended each of their two Knebworth shows in 1996.

They headlined Glastonbury twice, first in 1995 and again in 2004, and have won six Brit Awards and two Ivor Novellos.

Just days after announcing their return, the band shot to the top of the UK album charts with their debut Definitely Maybe as they celebrated their 30th anniversary.

Next year marks the 30th anniversary of their second album (What’s the story) Morning Glory? one of the best-selling LPs by a British act of all time.
