Oasis America tour dates: How to buy tickets

UPDATE: Oasis is officially coming to North America next year on its highly anticipated reunion tour and has added four additional dates due to popular demand.

The band will play Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Ontario on August 24th. Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois on August 28; Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on August 31; Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles, California on September 6th; and Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City on September 12th. Cage the Elephant will be open for all shows.

After announcing the US shows on Monday, the band announced additional dates at Rogers Stadium in Toronto (August 25), Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford (September 1), the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles (September 7 ) and at the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City (September 13th).

Presale registration is currently open until 8 a.m. ET on Tuesday on Oasis’ website. General ticket sales begin Friday at 12 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster. According to a press release, the band will also tour other continents outside of Europe and North America over the next year. Tickets will also be available on resale sites such as Ticketmaster.

In a statement announcing the North American leg of the tour, Oasis said: “America. Oasis is coming. You have one last chance to prove that you have loved us all along.”

Last month, after a 15-year hiatus (and decades-long feud), Liam and Noel Gallagher laid down their arms to announce Oasis tour dates in the UK and Ireland. Tickets sold out immediately and it was the region’s biggest launch to date, with over 10 million fans lining up for tickets.

Demand for Oasis tickets has already caused chaos abroad: As diversity Ticket sales were reportedly the biggest – and most controversial – since Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.

After Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing model frustrated fans hoping to see the brothers’ verses on “Acquiesce,” Oasis changed its ticketing strategy to an invite-only system. However, for the upcoming North American tour, the band announced that dynamic pricing will not be applied to ticket sales.

“It is widely accepted that dynamic pricing continues to be a useful tool to combat ticket advertising and keep prices below market and therefore more affordable for a significant proportion of fans,” Oasis management said in a statement. “But when unprecedented ticket demand (where the entire tour could be sold many times over by the time tickets go on sale) is combined with technology that cannot meet that demand, it loses effectiveness and can result in an unacceptable experience for fans lead.” .”

The statement continued: “We have made this decision for the North American tour to hopefully avoid a repeat of the issues fans in the UK and Ireland have recently experienced.”
