GRAND FORKS, N.D. – No. 9/8 North Dakota will complete its four-game homestand this Saturday against Murray State in MVFC action at the Alerus Center. Kickoff for the Fighting Hawks and Racers is scheduled for 1 p.m. The game will be televised on Midco Sports. It will also be broadcast on the Fighting Hawks Radio Network with a pregame show starting at noon.

UND holds a 3-1 record following a 41-24 win over San Diego last weekend. The Hawks outscored the Toreros 197-34 overall in the third quarter and won that stanza 24-3. Sawyer Seidl posted his first 100-yard rushing game of his career and gained 123 yards on 13 carries, including a 70-yard touchdown rush. Bo Belquist recorded his eighth career 100-yard receiving game, rushing for 116 yards and two scores on just three catches. Tyler Erkman had his first career interception while Devin Hembry also picked up a passport and Josh Navratil recovered from a mistake to win.

MSU enters Grand Forks with a record of 1-2. Earlier in the season, the Racers lost to Missouri (51-0) and Butler (19-17) before picking up their first win of the Jody Wright era with a 59-8 win over Mississippi Valley State two weeks ago. Murray State averages 158.3 yards rushing and 96.3 yards passing per game. Kywon Morgan leads the Racers on the ground this season with 21 carries for 129 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 6.1 yards per touch. Jayden Johannsen leads the passing attack and is 26 of 47 for 237 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Justice Hill is the top receiver with five grabs for 77 yards and a score.

This will be only the second meeting between North Dakota and Murray State in history. NoDak won 45-31 in Murray last year. The Racers became official members of the MVFC on July 1, 2023.
