Pokémon are taking over the Studio Stars Restaurant at Universal Studios Japan for another Halloween season. Starting September 4, 2024, the restaurant will offer new Pokémon-themed food.

Guests can enjoy Pokémon-themed food featuring Pokémon in a party-like atmosphere with decorations throughout the venue.

This plate features a crispy patty filled with rich, spicy beef stew. The side of rice is topped with a DJ Gengar topping.

Mimikyu’s White Cream Cutlet Burger Plate

This dish consists of a white creamed cutlet burger with a Mimikyu bun. Although the bun has no eyes, Mimikyu’s smile and rosy cheeks can be seen. Mimikyu’s ears protrude from the top of the bun. A black and orange circular swirl is served as a side dish.

The kids’ set includes items inspired by DJ Pikachu and DJ Gengar. The details of these items have not yet been announced by Universal Studios Japan, but one item features Pikachu’s tail and the other features Gengar’s ears and hat.

The item is served in a box. Two sides of the box have high walls. One wall features DJ Pikachu on top of speakers, while the other features DJ Gengar sitting on an orange and purple speaker.

The drink’s plastic cup features DJ Pikachu in his blue, red, and white outfit. The set also includes a light-up “Pokémon Halloween” coaster.

Hitomoshi’s sticky yogurt mousse cake

The desserts are inspired by Ghost-type Pokémon. The mousse cake looks just like Litwick (Hitomoshi in Japan), with a blue flame protruding from the top of the treat.

Round Pumpkaboo Pumpkin Pie

The pumpkin cake is decorated to look like Pumpkaboo. The cake slice is meant to resemble Pumpkaboo’s body, while the frosting and topper represent the top of the ghost-like Pokémon.

Special Pokémon Halloween items will be available starting September 4. The Pokémon Jumpin’ Halloween Party and Pokémon meet-and-greets are also scheduled to return on September 5. Read more about Halloween, including Halloween Horror Nights, at Universal Studios Japan.
