An angry Walmart customer has sharply criticized the retailer for allegedly not refunding him his money despite numerous reminders.
The customer shared her frustrating experience on social media.

“I placed an order online with Walmart and was overcharged,” Angela Walther wrote in a post on Facebook.
Walther said she spoke to her credit card company and was told to contact Walmart.
“It took forever to get someone on the phone, and the young man was very understanding and apologetic,” she said.
“He said they couldn’t refund me, but they would give me a $5 coupon that I couldn’t use in the store, but only online on orders over $10.”
Walther argued that the shipping costs for an online order would cost more than the $5 refund.
She was then told that she would receive a refund within 48 hours.
“Today, 4 days later, I still haven’t received the refund or an email, so I called again.”
Walther claims she was told she would receive an email within 30 minutes, but six hours later she still hadn’t heard anything.
“So I called my credit card company to dispute it,” Walther explained.
“Walmart has so much money, do they really have to scam people for less than $5???
“Is that why they got so rich?
“Unbelievable, I will never order from Walmart again and have told all my friends about it,” Walther explained.
The US Sun has asked Walmart for comment on this incident.
GET A REFUND
Customers can find instructions on how to get a refund on the Walmart website.
It states that debit and credit card refunds are usually available within up to 10 working days.

However, this refund method takes significantly longer than a Walmart gift card refund, which is available within three hours.
Customers also have the option to receive a refund if they do not have a receipt.
Facebook users expressed their condolences in the comments on Walther’s post.
“I try very hard not to shop at Walmart – especially online – for this exact reason,” wrote one user.
“And thank you, because I will never order from you again, then I don’t need any extra stress in my life,” said another.
Walther is not the only buyer who had problems with the refund.
Another customer claimed Walmart refused to offer a refund after adding an item he did not purchase to his receipt.
“We were overcharged $9.48 for a fishing hook we didn’t buy,” the buyer said.
Walmart reportedly told the shopper that she would need the fishing hook to get her money back.
However, since she did not purchase the hook, no refund could be given.
“So we didn’t get our money back,” she wrote.
“How many times do you scam people a day?”
