Supriya Sule attacked the BJP-Shiv Sena-led Maharashtra government, saying it should not have disturbed a busy person like Prime Minister Modi.

Just hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Pune in Maharashtra state was canceled due to heavy rains, NCP-SCP MP Supriya Sule on Thursday harshly mocked the prime minister and claimed that he has already five metro in the city Once inaugurated.

She said it was the sixth time that Prime Minister Modi had inaugurated the same project in Pune.

“The inauguration of the metro for which Prime Minister Modi was scheduled to visit Pune has already been held five times. It would have been the sixth time that Prime Minister Modi came for the same work,” she said.

Supriya Sule attacked the BJP-Shiv Sena-led Maharashtra government, saying it should not have disturbed a busy person like Prime Minister Modi.

“It is very shocking that the Maharashtra government has sought time from a busy person like the Prime Minister for the same task…,” she added.

Narendra Modi should shut down the metro line from District Court to Swargate in Pune and start valuable development projects 22,600 crore.

The new date for his visit will be announced later.

After heavy rains on Wednesday evening, the SP College premises where Prime Minister Modi’s program was held was submerged.

“The Prime Minister’s visit to Pune has been canceled and the program has been officially postponed,” said Pune district commissioner Chandrakant Pulkundwar.

Maharashtra Metro spokesperson Hemant Sonawane said, “The program has been canceled due to the orange alert (for heavy rains) issued by the IMD for Thursday. People, the program has been cancelled.

Maharashtra, one of the country’s largest states, is expected to hold elections later this year.
