Miranda Lambert I felt my husband’s love Brendan McLoughlin as he supported her at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards.

The couple walked the red carpet at the event on Thursday, September 26, held at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Lambert, 40, dazzled in a brown sequined dress with a plunging neckline. She completed the look with a gold and turquoise necklace and matching ring.

McLoughlin, 32, kept it simple with his awards show look so all eyes were on his wife. He opted for a black suede button-down shirt and pants.

Lambert has a big night ahead of her as she will be honored with the Country Icon Award during the ceremony.

The People’s Choice Country Awards are upon us again – which means the biggest names in country music are showing off their wildest and most fabulous fashion looks on the red carpet. “Miranda Lambert’s groundbreaking albums have been a tour de force in country music for more than 20 years and continue to capture the hearts of fans around the world.” Jen Nealsaid NBCUniversal Entertainment’s executive vice president of live events and specials in an August press release. “We are delighted to recognize her career, strong individualism and innovation in the industry with the Country Icon Award.”

Earlier this month, Lambert released her new album, Postcards from Texas. Before releasing the album, she teased what fans could expect with an exclusive cover story Us weekly.

“After 20 years at Sony Records and the subsequent departure and regrouping, I had time to think: What should my next chapter really look like?” she recalled. “I wanted to go back to my roots and regain my footing. To finally record another record in Texas with my best friend, Jon Randalland it just has that honky-tonk home sound to me. That’s how I grew up. It’s the music that brought me to life. So it feels like we’ve come full circle.”

Lambert also spoke about McLoughlin, 32, receiving a songwriting credit on the single “Dammit Randy” after suggesting the process “can’t be that hard.”
