Remember the time when we used to open MS Paint on our ancient CRT monitors or computer monitors and then draw random things to our heart’s content? As we grew older, Microsoft revamped the concept of MS Paint and launched another software called Paint 3D in 2016. When users tried it, they were reminded of the good old days. Now, this software that we loved will soon bid us farewell. The new app was supposed to replace the old app, but the tech giant announced that it will discontinue Paint 3D and remove it from the Microsoft Store.
It was designed to allow users to create and edit 3D models, and the decision to remove it came as no surprise, as Microsoft had already removed Paint 3D from the list of pre-installed apps on Windows in 2021.

Some Paint 3D users have complained that a banner appears at the top of the app. According to the banner, Microsoft will no longer support the app starting November 4th.
Can it still be downloaded?
Although the app is no longer included with Windows, it is still available for free download from the Microsoft Store, regardless of whether you are using Windows 10 or Windows 11. Despite this availability, the app struggled to gain popularity as many users preferred the classic Paint version, which continues to have millions of users worldwide.

In recent months, Microsoft has turned its attention back to the classic Paint app, introducing several updates and new AI-powered features that allow users to create images from scratch and remove backgrounds.
Additionally, the company announced that Paint 3D will be removed from the Microsoft Store on November 4, and support for the app will end after that date.
