Lunch and dinner deals in Greenville and Spartanburg for Restaurant Week 2024

Three-course meals and more are available at more than 70 restaurants in the Greenville and Spartanburg area during the 11-day culinary excursion called Restaurant Week, August 15-25, hosted by the South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association (SCRLA).

Twice a year, the Upstate’s best restaurants offer discounted lunches and dinners to promote the thriving dining scene between the two counties. In total, nine Palmetto State cities participate in Restaurant Week each year, with Greenville and Spartanburg being the most popular cities in the group.

“We hope people try restaurants they haven’t heard of before. They are all unique and offer great summer products and menus,” said Lenza Jolley, SCRLA’s vice president of membership and development. “There is something for everyone to enjoy.”

This special restaurant week has been held since 2010 and features a mix of local, regional and national dining options, and is designed to increase sales and visibility for the various restaurants in the Greenville and Spartanburg area. Jolley says they hope to encourage Upstate residents to dine locally while also gauging interest, especially in the Union, Cherokee, Laurens, Pickens, Asheville and rural Anderson areas.

Here is a list of restaurants participating in Restaurant Week in August 2024 and some of our favorite options:

Kitchen Sync is one of the most popular American barbecue restaurants in the Upstate. They offer a three-course meal for $34 that makes it hard to choose between a tomato pie or shrimp burger for an appetizer.
