Live Updates: Election News from Donald Trump and Kamala Harris

Leading outside groups are pouring tens of millions of dollars into new ad reservations this week in the final push to Election Day, and all signs point to a highly competitive race being played in seven battleground states.

Yesterday, FF PAC, the leading super PAC supporting Kamala Harris, increased its ad reservations by more than $20 million in the final month of the race. The group has run more than $114 million in advertising since Harris took over the Democratic ticket — and now has more than $201 million in remaining bookings.

In the final five weeks of the race, FF PAC will focus its advertising dollars on battleground Pennsylvania, where the group has reserved nearly $42 million; Michigan, which recorded more than $27 million; Arizona with $22 million; North Carolina at $19 million; Georgia at $18.5 million; Wisconsin with $17 million; Nevada with $10 million; and another $4.4 million went to Nebraska.

On the other hand, several leading pro-Trump super PACs also increased their spending this week.

MAGA Inc., the leading outside pro-Trump group, has purchased a total of $20 million in new advertising time so far this week, with reservations beginning in late September and extending through Election Day.

Between July 22 and today, when President Joe Biden dropped out, MAGA Inc. was the largest non-candidate advertiser in the 2024 race, spending more than $140 million on advertising during that period.

Including new bookings, MAGA Inc. has now booked nearly $60 million in advertising time through Election Day, targeting four of the key battleground states: $32 million in Pennsylvania, $10 million in Georgia, $9 million dollars in North Carolina and $7.3 million in Arizona.
