GRAND FORKS – UND and Murray State open Missouri Valley Football Conference play Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Alerus Center.

First quarter

AND 3, Murray State 0, 10:20 left: A 23-yard catch by fullback Jack Ihry provides the opening drive. However, the Hawks stalled at the 20-yard mark and settled for a 37-yard field goal from CJ Elrichs.

Murray State 7, AND 3, 8:47 left: On third-and-2, Jayden Johannsen rushes 57 yards to an option keeper.

UND 10, Murray State 7, 8:25 left: UND needs two games to respond. On 2nd-and-10, Simon Romfo falls short and goes deep for Bo Belquist, who reaches out for the catch and scores from 73 yards out.

Murray State 14, UND 10: Q’Daryius Jennings breaks free for a 65-yard run.

UND 17, Murray State 14, 4:38 left: After four straight runs to start the drive, Bo Belquist catches a comeback route down the sideline and burns his defender for a 41-yard touchdown reception.

UND 24, Murray State 14, :14 left: A roughing the punter penalty extends an UND drive. Isaiah Smith capped the drive with a 33-yard run up the middle.

Second quarter

UND 24, Murray State 21, 9:35 left: After a touchdown called back during a third-and-goal run, Murray State scores on fourth-and-goal from the 2. Jawaun Northington attacks from the Wildcat formation.
