This fight is his first this year. … Battle (10-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC) wasn’t too pleased after his last fight ended in a no-contest, accusing Ange Loosa of milking an accidental punch in the eyes. Previously, The Ultimate Fighter 29 winner won back-to-back fights and is hoping to get back into the swing of things.

Although one could argue that Battle is in line for some bigger names, Jousset is a well-trained fighter who brings a solid game to the table.

Not only does Jousset have the grappling skills one would expect from his judo roots, but the City Kickboxing representative also demonstrates the deft jabs, feints and leg kicks one would expect from his more well-known stablemates.

Aside from the fact that Battle also has judo roots of his own, The Ultimate Fighter winner also appears to be able to keep up with the Frenchman’s performance.

This won’t be a fight I’m particularly confident in predicting, but I’ll side with Battle to get the judges’ approval of the more effective offense.
