Jordan Love to Jayden Reed for the 53-yard catch

INGLEWOOD, Calif. – It wasn’t so much the Green Bay Packers’ first touchdown as the play that created the score that made the spectacle.

Still, running back Josh Jacobs’s first touchdown as a member of the Packers was a 2-yard run with 6:45 left in the first quarter of Sunday’s game at the Los Angeles Rams.

However, the piece before that was the piece with the highlights.

With three Rams running pace for pace with receiver Jayden Reed, quarterback Jordan Love dropped a deep ball that Reed hauled in for a 53-yard gain to the Rams’ 2-yard line.

Reed entered the game as the leading receiver on a Packers team that was without its other two starting receivers on Sunday because of Christian Watson’s ankle injury and Romeo Doubs’ suspension.
