Disgruntled Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was seen not heading straight to the locker room following his team’s surprise loss to the Washington Commanders on Monday night.
Instead, Burrow walked with Cincinnati head coach Zac Taylor down a separate hallway that apparently leads to the coaches’ offices. Neither looked happy when they were out of sight.
Normally, Burrow would be heading to the locker room like the rest of the Bengals, but that wasn’t the case after Cincinnati fell to 0-3 on the season despite high expectations.
Monday seemed like a chance for the Bengals to make up for their first two losses of the season (a surprise win against the Patriots and a last-second loss to the Chiefs).
The Commanders didn’t score a single touchdown against the Giants, winning a week after being trounced by the Buccaneers. Washington’s role as ripe for the picking has never been more fulfilled.

The final score of 38-33 underscores that Burrow is not the scapegoat for the team, as the Commanders had six full drives that all ended in points, and only one did not end in a touchdown for Washington.
Burrow threw 29 of 38 attempts for 324 yards and three touchdowns without an interception.
