Jamie Foxx’s eldest daughter, Corinne Foxx, is officially married. His former co-star Garcelle Beauvais shared the news of the 30-year-old’s wedding on Sunday (September 22).
In addition to photos of the Unpredictable The pop singer walked Corinne down the aisle in tears, and Beauvais hugged the two at the reception and the father-daughter dance. Beauvais captioned the recap on Threads with the words: “Last night we got to witness and celebrate the love of Corinne Foxx and Joe Hooten. Your love and respect for each other is palpable.”
Corinne met her current husband in 2018 and first hinted about their relationship in September 2019. She posted a photo of the two on what appeared to be a romantic trip to Zion National Park with the caption: “Spent the weekend with some studs.”
They announced their engagement on Instagram in December 2023. “From the first moment I saw you, I knew you were mine forever,” she captioned a series of black-and-white photos of the adorable couple celebrating the next step in their union.
As Foxx gushed about the news, he posted a heartfelt tribute to his daughter and future son-in-law.
“(Corinne and Joe), you are a perfect example of what it means to be in love… You care about each other’s lives, both mentally and physically… and you support each other… Congratulations on your engagement,” wrote the 56-year-old Oscar winner.
He recalled Hooten asking for Corinne’s hand in marriage, saying, “I had tears of joy in my soul.” Addressing his daughter, Foxx continued, “Corinne, you have… and always have had a special place in my heart. You deserve a lot of love, so congratulations again (…) I LOVE YOU BOTH VERY MUCH… I have my tissues ready #tearsofjoy.”
