Jabrill Peppers claimed that the solicitation of sexual acts led to an alleged incident of abuse

Jabrill Peppers claimed the story was different than what his alleged victim told police when he was arrested Saturday.

The woman, his alleged girlfriend, told police that the Patriots captain and former Giant was violent with her around 4 a.m. – putting his hands on her neck, slamming her head against the wall and then throwing her down the stairs after receiving a call that he didn’t like it while they were having intercourse, according to a police report seen by TMZ.

The 29-year-old NFL veteran is charged with assault, strangulation and drug possession in connection with the incident.

However, Peppers told authorities at the scene that it never got that far – and that the woman had been behaving “erratically” and was drunk.

According to multiple reports, he told police the woman “became angry with him when he refused to have unprotected sex with her.”

“According to Jabrill,” the police report states, “(the woman) continued to behave erratically and refused to leave.” According to Jabrill, (the woman) fell on the stairs alone because she was drunk. He denied pushing her down the stairs and said she made the allegations to destroy his career.”

Police also said they found a bag of white powder believed to be cocaine in his wallet.

Leaving court Monday, Peppers’ attorney told reporters that they had evidence “that completely contradicts the alleged victim’s story” and that it was more likely video “and other” evidence that they had.

The next hearing is scheduled for Nov. 22, but Peppers’ presence is not required, according to WCVB.

Peppers had already signed with the Patriots in 2022 and previously spent three seasons with the Giants.
