Is SLO County getting a second Bath & Body Works store? This is what we know

A new Bath & Body Works is set to open in San Luis Obispo County, but further details about the store are not yet available.

Three job postings on Bath & Body Works’ website Wednesday indicated that the company, known for its lotions, soaps and candles, is looking for managers for a store at The Crossing shopping center in Paso Robles, where Target is also located.

However, it is unclear which space in the mall the company will take over. As of Tuesday, there were no signs in the mall indicating a new Bath & Body Works location, and no address was included with the job postings.

The fashion boutique in SLO closes. “It was nice to be downtown”

The development would bring new housing and retail to SLO’s Railroad District

According to a site plan from Gallelli Real Estate, which owns The Crossings, the only two vacant sites are a 3,000-square-foot space between Famous Footwear and Michael’s that was formerly a Spectrum store, and the 6,000-square-foot single-family home that formerly housed Chili’s.

Other tenants at the mall include Target, Outdoor Supply Hardware and Ulta Beauty.

Representatives of Bath & Body Works and Gallelli Real Estate did not respond to requests for comment Wednesday.

If the store opens, it would be Bath & Body Works’ second location in San Luis Obispo County. The only current store is at 842 Higuera St. in downtown San Luis Obispo.
