Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will face off on Tuesday, September 10, at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This will be the first presidential debate between these Democratic and Republican candidates in the 2024 election cycle, following the Biden-Trump presidential debate on June 27 and President Biden’s exit from the race on July 21.

The 90-minute debate will air tonight on ABC and other major cable networks and will be moderated by ABC News’ Linsey Davis and David Muir. There will be no live audience and microphones will only be turned on when the candidate directly responds to a question.

This time slot was originally intended for the second presidential debate between Biden and Trump. ABC News was always intended to host the event, which was officially titled ABC News Presidential Debate: Race for the White House.
