The MLB playoffs offer no respite to weary National League players or fans – at least not yet. While the ALDS takes a day off today, two NLDS games will be played on Sunday, one between the New York Mets against the Philadelphia Phillies and another between the Los Angeles Dodgers against the San Diego Padres. (National League players have a break on Monday when the ALDS resumes.) The winners of those two series will then face off in the National League Championship Series, scheduled to begin Oct. 13.
