MATCHUP

The Broncos will conclude their two-week road trip with a contest against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. Denver is looking to get its first win of the 2024 season and the team will look to add to that success and get back to .500.

After scoring a touchdown on its first drive last week, Denver’s offense could be off to another fast start in Week 4. quarterback Bo Nix, who scored a rushing touchdown last week, is coming off his strongest performance of the season against Tampa Bay and could look to continue building positive momentum. Nix could aim to maintain his connection at wide receiver Courtland Suttonwho led the team in receiving yards in Week 3. After seeing increasing success with the running game last week, Denver could rely on running backs again Javonte Williams, Jaleel McLaughlin And Tyler Badie to make big pieces.

Denver’s defense, which recorded seven sacks in last week’s win, continued to show its disruptive potential. The unit faces a challenging Jets offense with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and standout wide receiver Garrett Wilson. Cornerbacks Pat Surtain II And Riley Moss could try to limit downfield opportunities while maintaining safety Brandon Jones could look to make more big plays after recording an interception and fumble recovery last week.

Kicker and AFC Special Teams Player of the Week Wil Lutz He was successful on all four of his field goal attempts last week and could contribute again in this week’s matchup.

INJURY UPDATE

The Broncos ruled out safety JL Skinner (ankle). Tight end Nate Adkins (shoulder) and wide receiver Josh Reynolds (Achilles) were upgraded to full participants and were not given game status, meaning they should be available for the matchup.

For New York, offensive lineman Morgan Moses (knee) has been ruled out, while linebacker CJ Mosley (toe) is listed as questionable.
