With dozens of Disney and Pixar characters to befriend, it’s easy to get lost in the magic of Disney Dreamlight Valley. Welcoming new characters is exciting, but it’s important to spend time with them to help them feel more comfortable in the village. Many characters offer unique rewards to help you explore, like new stalls or resource-gathering stations.
Tiana is a fantastic cook and her goal is to bring more Cajun food to the village. You can help her by building her restaurant and food stand to make it easier to get delicious appetizers, main courses and desserts.
How to unlock the back of the Bayou Friendship quest
To start this friendship search, you need Unlock Princess Tiana and reach friendship level two with her. This can be achieved by daily conversations and gifts.

You will know that you have met these conditions if a The pink Dreamlight icon appears above her head, signaling that a new quest is available for you to start. Simply talk to Tiana to get started.

to ensure that this quest begins.
How to unlock Tiana’s Palace
After you have started the quest, Tiana will ask for help in placing her restaurant. Unlike other character buildings and dwellings, does not have to pay Scrooge McDuck to build it! Simply Open your furniture menu and place the restaurant wherever you want.
Once it is placed, Go inside and find Tiana and talk to her. She is so excited to be back in her restaurant and has have already hatched some new ideas to share it with the community.
How to unlock Tiana’s food stand
After the conversation with Tiana in her restaurant she tells you all about her great idea, open Tiana’s food stand – a one-stop shop for dishes and delicacies to buy on the go. Gone are the days of quickly throwing together a meal while scouring the valley for treasure.
But to put it all together, she needs your help. Go to your crafting station to build Tiana’s food stand with the following materials:
- Glass (15)
- Hardwood (10)
- Bricks (5)
- Softwood (25)
Once you have built Tiana’s food stand, place it near her palace. There are a few niches in your restaurant that are perfect for it! After it is placed, contact Tiana about how everything has gone so far and buy the very first meal from their stand. We recommend their special beignets.

Grand opening of Tiana’s Palace
The last step in this search is Host of the grand opening! All your hard work will soon pay off. You must invite several villagers to enjoy Tiana’s fabulous food, including Moana and Mother Gothel.

After inviting Moana and Mother Gothel to the grand opening, Find out about Tiana’s progressShe is overloaded with cooking and needs your help to Prepare outdoor seating for your restaurant. Make the bistro tables and chairsYou will need the following materials:
- Softwood (30)
- Hardwood (24)
- Dietary fiber (18)
- Green Penstemon (9)
Once these materials are collected, manufacture three bistro tables and six bistro chairs. Decorate the terrace in front of Tiana’s restaurant with these new items and at least two elegant decorations.
Go back to Tiana’s Palace and look after her once again. She will present you with the inauguration ribbonthat you need to Location near Tiana’s Meal Stall to complete the grand opening!
