Benson Boone will play Indianapolis on Tuesday night, exactly a month before Taylor Swift brings her Eras Tour to Indianapolis. Boone performed for them at one of their London shows over the summer.

Here’s what you should know.

Who is Benson Boone?

Boone is a 22-year-old American singer and songwriter from Monroe, Washington. His most popular song, “Beautiful Things,” spent several weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 charts.

He was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, but lost to Chappell Roan.

He performed his hit song “Beautiful Things” at the VMAs and is known for his acrobatic maneuvers during his performances.

Benson Boone and Taylor Swift

The singer opened for Taylor Swift at her show in London on August 17 at Wembley Stadium. It was one of their eight appearances at Wembley Stadium during the Eras Tour.

He told Billboard about the experience and how much he admired Swift at the MTV VMAs.

“She’s great, she’s so nice, everything she does, everything she touches turns to gold, so I was just happy to be a part of a show,” Boone said.

Is Benson Boone opening for Taylor Swift in Indy?

No. Gracie Abrams will open for the final shows of the Eras Tour.

Boone plays the Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park on Tuesday, October 1st at 8 p.m.
