Since its release in 2017 Fortnite allowed players to purchase exciting cosmetic items in the game’s item shop. Now, after 7 years, players can finally purchase the items they want in the game without having to enter the game. This is perfect for the Fortnite Fans out there who don’t currently have access to the game but don’t want to miss out on quickly released cosmetics like emotes and new collaborations.

Fortnite is always offering players new skins and emotes, so it’s no surprise that those who don’t necessarily want to log in at specific times to check are looking for alternative methods. It’s great that players can now use their web browsers and mobile devices to purchase in-game items Fortnite.


How to access the Fortnite Item Shop via web browsers and phones

Everything players need to do to purchase Fortnite Article online is going on any search engine, like Google and Bing, and Enter in the Fortnite Web Shop. The first result should be on the official Fortnite Website: Fortnite Shop – Latest Items.


Now that the players have received the official Fortnite website, they will see a login icon in the top left of their webpage. Players must select this to log into their Epic Games account, which should be directly linked to each individual player’s gaming account, whether it is Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, Google or Apple. Once logged in, players can go to Fortnite Shop online where you can see your V-Buck balance in the top left and the “Support A Creator” code in the top right.

Once the shop is accessed, players can scroll through and see what is available. This includes all of the tabs that can be accessed in-game, including special offers and bundles. Selecting each item will show how many V-Bucks the item costs and when it will be removed from the shop. Selecting each item will also give players a fully rendered 3D model, allowing them to rotate the skins they want to purchase or watch the emotes on loop.


After players see an item they want to purchase, they can select the “Buy” button. Those who are undecided or afraid of making a misclick have no need to worry because selecting “Buy” will take them to a “Confirm Purchase” screen that will verify if players want to click “Buy” or “Cancel.” After purchasing, the item will be sent directly to their Fortnite account so that the next time you access the game, the selected item will be waiting for you.
