Google Doodle celebrates classic popcorn with an interactive game

Any movie experience is incomplete without popcorn, whether you’re watching it in the theater or in the comfort of your own home. From the 2 a.m. snack to the movie companion, Popcorn deserves a lot more credit than it gets. And that’s exactly what today’s Google Doodle does – it celebrates popcorn.
The update isn’t another animated doodle, but to make things exciting, Google has introduced one interactive game.There is only one simple goal: “Don’t get caught!” The game offers the player the option to play “solo” or with his “squad”. And your competition consists of random players from all over the world. This game made Doodles history by allowing “the highest number of players to participate in a game at the same time ever!”
Popcorn has been a constant in the moviegoing experience since the 20th century. It’s ready in minutes, easily affordable, and easy to prepare – meaning vendors didn’t need any really expensive equipment to prepare it.
