Gasoline prices in LA and Orange County fell slightly

The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline at self-dispensing stations in Los Angeles County fell four-tenths of a cent to $4.555 on Friday, a day earlier the price had already fallen by three-tenths of a cent.

The average price is 1.4 cents lower than a week ago, 8 cents lower than a month ago and 80.1 cents lower than a year ago, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. The price has fallen by $1.939 since its record high of $6.494 on October 5, 2022.

The average price in Orange County fell four-tenths of a cent to $4.478, a day after already falling seven-tenths of a cent. That’s 2.1 cents less than a week ago, 7.9 cents less than a month ago and 82.8 cents less than a year ago. The average price in Orange County has fallen $1.981 since rising to a record high of $6.459 on October 5, 2022.
