Ganope officials inspect sites in the eastern desert to boost oil and gas production

Officials of the Ganoub El Wadi Petroleum Holding Company (Ganope) conducted a inspection their production sites in the Eastern Desert. This visit is in line with the Ministry’s initiatives to promote oil and gas discoveries, increase production and emphasize human resources, occupational safety and environmental protection.

The Ganope team included Nabil Salah, Vice President of Production and Operations; Ibrahim Abdou, Vice President of Agreements and Exploration; Moataz Khalil, Vice President of Planning and Projects; Khaled Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Vice President of Administrative Affairs; and Mohamed Saeed Soliman, Deputy President of Security.

This tour is part of Ganope’s ongoing monitoring program for the Eastern Desert fields and falls within the scope of its technical and administrative oversight responsibilities.

The visit included the fields of Esh El Mallaha Petroleum Company (Eshpetco) and PetroGulf and other affiliated companies.

They visited the production and oil processing facilities at Eshpetco’s fields, as well as the flare gas utilization station to generate the electricity needed to operate the crude oil extraction and production facilities.

They also reviewed plans to develop new areas and bring discovered oil wells into operation at PetroGulf, PetroNefertiti and the Magawish Petroleum Company (Magapetco) to stimulate the national economy.

The tour also included reviewing emergency plans, testing fire protection systems at Magapetco and safety protocols at PetroGulf to ensure worker safety and operational efficiency.
