After a mini-bye, the New England Patriots will play their third away game in four weeks on Sunday afternoon. They travel to the Bay Area for the first time in eight years to face the San Francisco 49ers in a 1-2 team matchup.

Your game plan for the competition is as follows:

Patriots game day schedule

The Patriots offensive line will field its fourth different starting lineup in as many weeks on Sunday.

While the right side of the line is quite stable, the left side remains a big question mark. Starting player Vederian Lowe is out again, Caedan Wallace replaces him for the second time in a row. At left guard, New England will finally return starter Sidy Sow, who missed the first four games due to an ankle injury he suffered in the preseason.

There are also questions along the defensive line. On paper, Joshua Uche is the only player available – meaning the team will have to get creative to replace Anfernee Jennings (inactive/shoulder) and Oshane Ximines (injured reserve/knee). However, there are several possible candidates available.

New England could turn to versatile defensive linemen Keion White and Deatrich Wise Jr. to kick more often against a talented 49ers ground game. Additionally, off-ball linebackers Jahlani Tavai and Raekwon McMillan have demonstrated their ability to play on the line as well.

In addition, the Patriots again used six wide receivers. Cornerback Isaiah Bolden, meanwhile, will make his season debut one day after being signed from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

Patriots reserves

Inactive (6): TE Jaheim Bell, ED Anfernee Jennings, G Michael Jordan, DE Jamree Kromah, OT Vederian Lowe, QB Joe Milton III (emergency QB)

Training squad (13): OL Liam Fornadel, LB Joe Giles-Harris, RB Kevin Harris, C Bryan Hudson, CB DJ James, RB Terrell Jennings, OT Caleb Jones, WR Matt Landers, ED Ochaun Mathis, S Mark Perry, DT Jacquelin Roy, OT Jalen McKenzie, WR John Jiles

New England’s list of reserves offers few surprises. The aforementioned Anfernee Jennings is the biggest name among the inactives.
