Game tips Saints vs. Falcons: New Orleans starts 2-0 in the NFC South

After a disappointing home loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the New Orleans Saints will hit the road on Sunday to face their hated division rival, the Atlanta Falcons.

Let’s take a look at the play selection for the matchup:

Saints +3 (-118)

The Saints offense was sluggish in the Dome against the Eagles, so they will definitely be hoping for a comeback game. Chris Olave is expected to be a game-winning decision due to a hamstring injury, but the Saints will still be able to get some offense going with Alvin Kamara playing incredible football early in the season.

Defensively, the Saints will be without several key players, including Demario Davis, who has never missed a game due to injury in his career. They will need some younger talent to step up, particularly Pete Werner. Atlanta is missing key pieces on offense, similar to the Saints, but I believe Alontae Taylor will continue to dominate and pick up his fifth sack of the young season.

Another point to keep in mind is that the Saints have won four of their last five games in Atlanta. So I expect them to get another decisive win, start the season 3-1 and have a two-game lead in the NFC South.
