FREE FOOD! And show some support for local black-owned restaurants too!

CLEVELAND – Pepsi Dig In Day celebrates and supports black-owned restaurants on Saturday.

In Northeast Ohio, Hooked in Warrensville Heights and No Fork in Beachwood were selected as two participating establishments. Owner Calvin Williams is excited to be chosen as part of an elite group of black-owned restaurants across the country. Only 30 were chosen to participate.

“It’s a good feeling to have someone watching and noticing how much good we’re doing in the restaurant business,” Williams said.

At No Fork, the “Signature Smash Burger” with two patties, two slices of cheese, lettuce, tomato and signature sauce is available as a buy-two-get-two-free offer.

At Hooked, the Fat Cat is a catfish sandwich with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles and a special sauce that is available for two for one.

You can get these dishes in both restaurants while supplies last. Hooked is open until 9 p.m., No Fork until 8 p.m.

“Maybe you can come in today and feed your family for free,” Williams said.

Hooked is located at 23091 Emery Road, Warrensville Heights.

No Fork is located at 3365 Richmond Rd Suite 150, Beachwood.
