Patrick Pass, a former New England Patriots fullback, was arrested Wednesday in North Providence, Rhode Island, after allegedly attacking an elderly man at a Planet Fitness gym.
According to multiple reports, Pass, 46, argued with an 82-year-old man at the gym over exercise equipment before the former NFL player pushed the victim to the ground.
The man reportedly suffered back injuries when he fell to the ground.

Pass was arrested and charged with assault on a man over 60 causing bodily harm, a felony in Rhode Island, and disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor, according to the New York Post.

According to court documents, Pass was ordered to pay a $10,000 bounty and was prohibited from contacting the victim.
Pass’s next court date is scheduled for January.
Pass won four Super Bowls during his eight-year career, including one game in his final season with the New York Giants in 2007, the year they defeated Tom Brady and the Patriots in the Super Bowl, spoiling their undefeated season.
Pass, a seventh-round pick in the 2000 NFL Draft, one round after Brady’s famous selection, had 526 yards rushing and three touchdowns in his 78 games in New England.
He also caught 66 balls for 570 yards and scored one touchdown.

Pass was most recently a coach in the Indoor Football League for the Massachusetts Pirates, where he was suspended indefinitely after a fight broke out during a game against the Arizona Rattlers and players jumped into the stands.
