FOO FIGHTERS cancel SOUNDSIDE MUSIC FESTIVAL this weekend

FOO FIGHTERS have cancelled their performance on September 29 The Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Today the following statement was published on the band’s social media: “FOO FIGHTERS will not perform this weekend The Soundside Music Festival. For more information, visit the festival website.”

FOO FIGHTERS were the headliners for the second day of the Southside Music Festivalwith Grandstands, Norah Jones, Teddy swims and more, including performances.

The cancellation comes two weeks after the FOO FIGHTERS frontman’s performance Dave Grohl admitted to cheating on his wife and fathering an illegitimate child.

Taking Instagram on 10 September the former NIRVANA Drummer wrote: “I recently became a father to a daughter born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive father to her. I love my wife and children and am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”

He added: “We are grateful for your consideration for all the children affected as we move forward together.”

Grohl — who is widely regarded as one of the nicest stars in the music business — has three daughters with his wife, a model and a TV producer Jordyn Blumwhom he married in 2003. His eldest daughter, Violetis a tour member of FOO FIGHTERS.

FOO FIGHTERS‘ eleventh album, “But here we are”was released in June 2023 and was the first since the death of the drummer Taylor Hawkins in 2022.
