Fire breaks out at Casa Taco Restaurant in Sea Isle City, New Jersey

UPDATE: A fire in City of Sea IsleNew Jersey, damaged two restaurants – Casa Taco and Casino Pizza – on Wednesday. Firefighters were dispatched to the 4000 block of Park Road in the Fish Alley District just after 5 p.m. At least six fire departments responded to contain the blaze. Videos from the scene showed flames and smoke pouring through the roof of Casa Taco’s two-story building. Surrounding buildings were evacuated as a precaution, although they did not appear to be damaged. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

“Late this afternoon I heard the sirens which triggered a 911 call. I live downtown so I’m in the thick of things. I quickly went out on my front porch and saw smoke coming from the bay… right next to the bridge that goes to Sea Isle City. I quickly went outside and noticed the fire a block from my house…” one person wrote on Facebook.
