McDonald’s unveiled its 2024 Boo Bucket range on Tuesday, and some online fans don’t like the designs this year.

When are McDonald’s Boo Buckets available?

McDonald’s Boo Buckets, which replace Happy Meal boxes while supplies last, will be available starting Oct. 15, the company announced Tuesday.

This year, the buckets that can be used for trick-or-treating have been refreshed with new monster designs. It also comes with a sheet of stickers so kids can customize them.

Happy Meals can be ordered in the restaurant or via the McDonald’s app. Prices vary depending on location.

This is the third year in a row that McDonald’s has offered its Boo Buckets, USA TODAY reports. They were brought back to market in 2022 for the first time since 2016. McDonald’s first sold them in 1986 and only occasionally since then.

This year, Dunkin’ has entered the Halloween trick-or-treating bucket fray with its new Munchkins bucket.

Available for a limited time starting October 16, the Halloween-themed purple bucket can be filled with a 50-piece selection of Munchkin Donut Hole Treats decorated for the season with orange and chocolate sprinkles, according to the company .

It’s one of several seasonal offerings that include the Potion Macchiato coffee and a Spider Specialty donut, as well as the return of DunKings tracksuit costumes.
