Famous TikTok star dies suddenly at the age of 25

TikTok star Taylor Rousseau Grigg, who gained 1.4 million followers for sharing his daily experiences on the platform, has died. She was 25.

Cameron Grigg, the influencer’s husband, shared the news on his Instagram on Saturday, October 5, saying his wife’s death was “so sudden and unexpected.”

“No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartbreak, especially at our age,” Cameron Grigg wrote, adding that the plan was to donate Taylor Griggs’ organs.

“While her earthly body is still here, waiting to bestow the gift of life, we know that her spirit is in heaven, dancing on the streets of gold with all her beauty and grace,” he said.

The late social media star opened up about her ongoing medical issues back in August, saying she felt like she had to “fight for life.”

Taylor Griggs added that she was in indescribable pain and sometimes wished she was dead.

The TikToker said ongoing stress contributed to her health problems but couldn’t figure out what was wrong for almost a year.

In the video, Taylor Griggs said that she was officially diagnosed a few weeks earlier, but never revealed exactly what she went through.

Taylor Griggs said in the video that she became ill right after she and Cameron Griggs tied the knot.

Cameron Griggs confirmed this, saying the TikToker had been in and out of the hospital since the couple’s wedding, which took place in August 2023, according to another Instagram post of his.

“Over the past year, Taylor has endured more pain and suffering than most people endure in a lifetime. And yet she was still such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her,” wrote Cameron Griggs.

“She is the bravest and strongest woman I know, and her trust in the Lord outweighed all other circumstances she faced, even in her darkest hours. I know she saved my life and so many others out there,” he wrote.

Cameron Griggs added that his wife’s medical journey has impacted the couple’s financial situation. A GoFundMe has been set up to help organize a celebration of Taylor Griggs’ life.

“Even if you cannot contribute financially, prayers are always needed for our family,” wrote Cameron Griggs. “I love you all. Taylor loves you all. Thank you for all the support and kind words during this time.”
