Host Jim Maritato not only presents a complete remaster with improved sound and editing, but also provides a long overdue update on the ongoing efforts by the LA Department of Cultural Affairs and the Bureau of Engineering to transform the firehouse into a youth arts center.

In this episode, we revisit a classic 2022 Extraplasm episode and provide some new details and updates on an ongoing story! And of course, as usual, the episode kicks off with new Ghostbusters headlines. Whether you’re new to Extraplasm or a long-time listener, there’s something new for you in this week’s episode!

From praising the recent success of Ghostbusters: The Ice Cold Empire to new exclusive merchandise at Universal Orlando, this week’s jam-packed headline segment also includes a quick recap on a production-made Slimer doll and Stay Puft hat that are part of Propstore’s summer auction in Los Angeles, the Horror Halloween Nights menu that includes a Mini Stay-Puft S’more and Frozen death cold Cheesecake, Spirit Halloween brings back the 17-inch Slimer hanging decoration, new t-shirts available at Old Navy, Hallmark unveils an exclusive 8-bit-style NYCC Slimer pin, and more!
