‘Everybody Still Hates Chris’ reveals trailer and guest stars

EXCLUSIVE: Chris Rock’s animated series Everyone still hates Chris sets up the stars.

The series, scheduled to premiere September 25 on Comedy Central, has featured a number of guest stars including Ayo Edebiri, Sally Jessy Raphael and Busta Rhymes.

The bear Star, talk show host and rapper will be joined by Tisha Campbell, Sam Richardson and Bell Biv DeVoe members Ricky Bell, Michael L. Bivins and Ronald Boyd DeVoe Jr.

The list is pretty long: Jaylen Barron, Todd Bridges, Nicole Byer, Monét, Rob Huebel, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Phil Lamarr, Rack-Lo, Jessica Lowe, Vincent Martella, Laraine Newman, Gabrielle Nevaeh, Kevin Michael Richardson, Natasha Rothwell, Latrice Royale, Lindsey Stoddart, Cree Summer, Vanessa Vanjie and Jenny Yang.

Elsewhere, Paul Ben-Victor, Mike Estime, Antonio Fargas, Kevontay Jackson, Mikey Kelley, Jacqueline Mazarella, Paulina Singer and Ernest Thomas will reprise their roles from the original live-action series.

Everyone still hates Chris In “Rock as Adult Chris,” he tells stories inspired by his childhood as a scrawny nerd in a large working-class family in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, in the late 1980s.

Terry Crews will voice his father Julius, a gentle giant with a relentless work ethic and a narrow-minded approach to life. He grew up in poor circumstances and therefore knows the cost of everything down to the cent. He works two jobs to support the family and takes a third job on his days off. Tichina Arnold will voice his mother Rochelle, who is smart, strong-willed and caring, but can also be hot-headed, especially when it comes to her children. She doesn’t tolerate any nonsense, which is why she quits more jobs in a month than most people do in a lifetime.

Tim Johnson Jr. voices young Chris, Ozioma Akagha voices his little sister Tonya, Terrence Little Gardenhigh voices his brother Drew, and Gunnar Sizemore voices his friend Greg.

The series based on it Everyone hates Chriswhich ran for four seasons on UPN and The CW between 2005 and 2009, is produced by Eye Animation Productions, the animation division of CBS Studios, and Chris Rock Enterprises.

Sanjay Shah is showrunner and executive producer alongside Rock, Everybody Hates Chris co-creator Ali LeRoi, Michael Rotenberg and Dave Becky of 3 Arts Entertainment, and Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina of Titmouse, which serves as the animation studio.
