ESPN E60: Nowhere is Nebraska like here

When: Sunday, August 25, 2024, 4:00 p.m. (CT)

Watch: ESPN with subsequent extended version streaming on ESPN+

ESPN’s new E60 documentary follows the Nebraska Cornhuskers volleyball team on their way to winning the national championship during the 2023 season.

The documentary offers unprecedented insight into the team’s ups and downs throughout the season. Merritt Beason, John Cook, Harper Murray and Rebekah Allick are just a few of the girls who provide a lot of insight into the program and how tough it is to play at Nebraska.

It starts with Nebraska volleyball day and then shows other highlights from the season, including the big showdown against Wisconsin when we were 1 and 2, the Huskers winning the B1G title and their run to the national championship game. There’s also some historical background to the program.

It shows how much pressure on such young players can affect mental health. Harper Murray tells her story and her struggles throughout the season and during the postseason.

I don’t want to give too much away before the show airs, so please tune in tonight at 4pm CST to watch this documentary about such an amazing and history-making show!

Be sure to check out the trailer below if you haven’t already before the documentary airs tonight!
