Eminem subtly revealed some major family news in his new video for his song “Temporary.”

In the music video, shared to YouTube on Thursday, October 3, Eminem (real name Marshall Mathers) announced that his daughter Hailie Jade Mathers is expecting her first child.

The entire video seemed to be dedicated to his 28-year-old daughter, as the song accompanied a montage of videos and important moments of his daughter’s growing up. Just before the four-minute mark of the video, Hailie is seen presenting her father with a Detroit Lions jersey that says “Grandpa” on the back.

Fans were quick to react to the sweet moment in the video, flooding the comments section with congratulatory messages. “Thanks for sharing this with us, Em. We know you like to keep your personal life private… And congratulations, I can’t believe you’re becoming a grandfather ❤,” one fan said. Another commented, “That Eminem Grandpa is the most beautiful news I’ve ever heard.”

Others admitted how emotional the video made them, leaving comments like, “Nothing hurts more than seeing Eminem cry” and “Eminem crying? Now am I crying? No, you’re crying.”

One mentioned how important this moment was, saying: “I don’t think you understand the significance and the full circle moment that this video clip represents. It’s not just about Eminem’s career – it’s about his journey as a father, his true purpose.”

Hailie recently married her husband Evan McClintock in May and tied the knot in Battle Creek, Michigan. The rapper was able to share a special moment with his daughter, with photos from TMZ shows the couple having a sweet dance together.
