Ashley Park And Paul Forman are their co-stars on screen, but have also proven off-screen that the chemistry between them is right.
The couple met during the filming of the third season of Emily in Paris in 2021, when Forman was cast as Park’s lover Nicolas de Leon. (Park has played Mindy Chen in the Netflix series since it premiered in October 2020.)
While fans had speculated that Park and Forman were in a romantic relationship, the duo did not make their relationship official until January 2024.
Park shared an old black-and-white photo of the couple kissing and another of Forman pushing her in a wheelchair while dressed up via Instagram. In the caption, she seemingly revealed that the couple had actually been together longer than fans initially thought.
“One year ago today. @peforman the annual January heroic act,” Park captioned the post, to which Forman replied, “The only heroic act is having you by my side.”

January 2023
Park and Forman shared a sweet kiss while she was all dressed up. In the photo posted on Instagram, Forman was also seen pushing Park in a wheelchair.
October 2023
Park and Forman were spotted holding hands at The Hollywood Reporter‘s beauty dinner.
January 2024
After Park was hospitalized for tonsillitis that “led to critical septic shock,” she thanked Forman for his continued support.
“Most of all, I am grateful (Forman) for standing by me unconditionally through all of this. You calmed my fears and saw me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in intensive care, terrifying emergency rooms, countless scans and tests and injections, unbearable pain and so much confusion while we were alone on the other side of the world, far away from those we know,” she wrote.
Alongside a photo of Forman kissing her on the head in bed, Park wrote: “I love you, Paul. More than I can ever say.”
In response to her sweet tribute, Forman wrote, “My love,” along with a heart emoji.
He also shared snaps of the couple on his own Instagram account and wrote: “By your side no matter what.”
Lily Collins, Lucas Bravo and more made their fans swoon during Emily in Paris – and their love lives off-camera are just as romantic. The series, created by Darren Star, came out on Netflix in October 2020 and was initially met with mixed reviews. While many viewers loved the cheesy style of the show, others had trouble following the somewhat unrealistic (…).

Forman celebrated his and Park’s first date in the spotlight by sharing a series of snaps of the couple at London Fashion Week.
“First public date with @jw_anderson,” Forman wrote on Instagram. “Congratulations @jonathan.anderson on an incredible show.”
August 2024
Park recalled the early days of her romance with Forman and told Cosmopolitan that she knew he was a “eye candy” but was determined not to “date an actor again” when they met Emily in Paris.
“I also thought, ‘Oh my God, no way. I’m over that. I would never fall in love with someone who looks so flawless,'” she recalled of their first connection. “So we were just friends. We hung out together platonically.”
Park’s co-star Lily Collinshowever, “noticed the chemistry” between them and brought it to her attention. “She was like, ‘Ashley, what’s wrong?’ And I said, ‘Nothing. I told you I don’t date actors,'” Park recalled.
Things finally turned romantic after a trip to Poland, when Park saw Forman “playing chess with these kids who had no home.” She recalled having to take a “loss of dignity tour” and tell Collins and everyone else, “We’re so in love.”
August 2024
Park and Forman came together to the premiere of Netflix’s Emily in Paris Season 4 at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood on August 14. Park stunned in a sparkling floor-length silver gown and her hair pulled back in a long, sleek ponytail. Forman looked stunning in an all-black suit and a sheer black floral blouse.
“Pink Pony Paris premiere with Paul & Park 🥂,” Park wrote on Instagram, posting a fun video of the Emily in Paris stars preparing for and attending the premiere.
