Ebay is already full of PS5 Pro consoles worth over $3,000

This morning Sony announced pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 Pro and the limited edition 30th anniversary version the more powerful PS5, complete with matching controllers. It sold out within minutes. Now black marketeers are trying to sell the retro packages on eBay for thousands of dollars.

On September 10, after months of rumors, Sony officially unveiled the PS5 Pro. The Console costs $700 and will give developers more power and theoretically allow gamers to enjoy more games at higher frame rates without sacrificing resolution or additional detail. The internet was full of drama and discourse about the console almost immediately after it was announced. And then Sony announced a special PS1-inspired version of the PS5 Pro and suddenly a lot of people were back on board with spending too much money on a new Sony console. However, if you weren’t able to snag a pre-order on Thursday morning, you’ll have to pay thousands of dollars on eBay to get your gray PS5 Pro.

The pre-order process for the new PS5 Pro on September 26th and the $1000 PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Bundle was a nightmare. People were struggling to buy anything from the PlayStation Store, and those who were lucky are now trying to get their hands on the anniversary packs on eBay.
