Eagles vs. Buccaneers: Live updates, analysis, more from Tom Brady’s return to Tampa Bay

The Buccaneers have a chance to turn their season around after last Sunday’s inexcusable loss, and they have a chance to prove that last season’s playoff win over the Eagles was no fluke.

Even better: you can do both in front of an old friend.

When the Bucs (2-1) take on the Eagles (2-1) in Tampa on Sunday afternoon, Tom Brady will be in action for FOX Sports, making his first appearance in his old hometown since retiring after the 2022 season. Brady, of course, spent the final three years of his storied career with the Bucs, leading them to the Super Bowl championship following the 2020 season — his record seventh title and the Bucs’ first in 18 years.

The current Bucs are supported at quarterback by Baker Mayfield, who led them to a surprising 9-8 record and a 32-9 victory over the Eagles in the first round of the playoffs last season. The Bucs were 2-0 this year before their hot start was spoiled by an ugly 26-7 loss to the Broncos last week.

They’ll face an Eagles team that pulled off a tough 15-12 win over the Saints last Sunday in New Orleans – although potentially without several key players, such as star wide receivers AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith, as well as right tackle Lane Johnson are all out.

It’s a huge game between two teams hoping to compete in the NFC Championship Game, with an NFL legend watching from the broadcast booth. You can follow all the action with top plays, key moments and insightful analysis from FOX Sports’ Ralph Vacchiano below!
