Maks, 44, had many thoughts about her DWTS Casting during his appearance on the “TMZ Podcast” earlier this month.

“I can see both sides. I can be on the production side and the audience side and understand everything,” he said. “But if you want an ankle bracelet and you’re like, ‘Damn, this is going to get attention,’ and the whole thing is scandalous – I mean, there are so many other people to choose from.”

Maks called Anna a “professional liar” before criticizing her dancing. “She wasn’t great,” he said, referring to Anna and Ezra’s cha-cha dance during the Season 33 premiere of DWTS on Sept. 17. (Ezra has stated that Anna cried after being widely criticized.)

“Wait a minute – didn’t she trick people into thinking she was special like this or that? And that takes a lot of courage,” he continued. “It takes a lot of self-control to present yourself in a certain way, even when you’re so nervous. I don’t believe in this ‘she was nervous’ talk. She’s a shit dancer and (her) personality isn’t really going to help her in this competition.”

Dancing with the stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET simultaneously on ABC and Disney+. There will be no new episode on Tuesday, October 1.
