DWTS’ Danny Amendola addresses Xandra Pohl dating rumors

Danny Amendola throws a flag on this rumor.

After the New England Patriots alum was assisted by a pal Xandra Pohl during a recording of Dancing with the stars Last week he ended any budding romance between the two.

“Xandra is a great friend of mine,” Danny told E! News’ Will Marfuggi in an exclusive interview on September 24th. “I’m a big fan and supporter of hers and it’s good to have a friend like her.”

Of course, Danny stressed that Xandra is still a very close friend, adding that his “mother loves her.” (More information from Danny and the DWTS Cast, tune in E! News tonight, September 25th, at 11 p.m.)

Good thing, considering Xandra was sitting side by side with Danny’s mother rose during the September 17 episode. Wearing a V-neck T-shirt with her hair down, Xandra, 23, was seen smiling broadly and applauding throughout the evening’s performances.

And while the 38-year-old shut down any romantic speculation between the duo, rumors had been circulating long before Danny laced up his dancing shoes. In fact, the couple was photographed doing so Tom BradyThe Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony in June at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.

For her part, Xandra – who broke up with her Jack Touzet in 2023 after dating for three years and more recently fueling dating rumors with the Kansas City Chiefs player Louis Rees Zamm– didn’t address her relationship with the Dancing with the stars Candidate. However, she previously revealed that for her, relationships are just about “having fun.”

“I’m in my single era,” she told E! News in May. “I say yes to dating and meeting a lot of new people.”

Danny has also been living the single lifestyle for some time now. After dating Olivia Culpo– who just tied the knot with her husband Christian McCaffrey in June – the couple separated for three years in 2018 and he hasn’t been seriously linked to anyone since.
